Although Robin has a passion for portraiture, She is principally a still life painter. Robin creates each scene with an arrangement of traditional objects, adding fabric, and fruit or flowers to portray a timeless elegance. Robin enjoys working on Wallis Sanded paper which allows her to add many layers of color to achieve tones, light and shadow. Her paintings often evoke nostalgic reflections or remembrances personal to someone.
Robin has recently been elected signature member of the Pastel Society of America. Currently on display at East Colony Fine Art, her work can also be seen at the Sea Bell Gallery in Ogunquit, ME, and at outdoor shows throughout New England and New York. Robin spends six weeks of the winter in Florida participanting in juried shows throughout the State.
In December 2006 Robin opened Frisella Fine Art Studio in Candia, NH. Frisella Fine Art is her fulltime-working studio where she teaches pastel classes.
